As soon as Stranger Things came out on Netflix on the 15th July 2016, the world went crazy.
Most people binge-watched it and then watched it again, and again, and again.
I was one of those people.

Have you seen Stranger Things? What did you think?
At the time of writing, it is October and Stranger Things has been out for three months. I have seen it seven times. I can hear you asking me 'aren't you sick of it yet?' The answer is no.
How could I be sick of this show?

Stranger Things centres around four young boys. When one of their own goes missing, they make it their business to try and find him. Along the way, they meet a lost girl, Elevuen, who seem... Strange. She barely talks and can move things with her mind. Underlying this is a secret. A secret that cannot get out. There is a monster that has escaped the local laboratory that has been conducting experiments. The boys must find their friend alongside Eleven and find out what the lab's secret is.

One of the best things about this show is that creators (the Duffer Brothers) have used Stranger Things to page homage to the 80s. The haircuts, the clothes, the music; everything is perfect.

Mike (Finn Wolfhard), Dustin (Gaten Matarazzo) and Lucas (Caleb McLaughlin) are such brilliant actors that you forget that they have such a short résumé. They balance each other out and add elements of fun to it. You can't help but laugh at their jokes throughout the show. Adding the comedy to a thriller/horror show makes Stranger Things even more brilliant. Even Winona Ryder (Joyce Byers) who has had quite a few unsuccessful roles as of late, pulls through and makes your heart strings break with her brilliant acting.

Also, can we just talk about Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown) for a second?
She may not say much during the whole show, but she has such an incredible impact. The flashbacks that she has that show us her time during the lab prove how good she is and far she will go.

Stranger Things is one of those shows where you can't help but binge watch. There's monsters, comedy, government secrets, jump scares and a plot that is pure brilliance. What more could you possibly want?

If you haven't seen Stranger Things yet, then please stop whatever you're doing right now, turn your TV, laptop - anything with Netflix on - and start watching it.
Now. You won't regret it. I promise.

Stranger Things Season Two comes out in 2017.

Kirsty's TV Series Ranking:
