With
Christmas almost within our tinsel laden, mince pie eating, mulled wine
drinking reach I thought it would only be fair to compile a delightful gift
guide for the fun and quirky individual.
Ranging
from under £10 to under £250 there is something to suit all budgets or you
could just blow the budget and buy (me) the lot!

Aren't they best gifts always the most random ones? |
Now, I have to admit this one isn’t for everyone, but as a crazy animal lover, I saw this on NOTHS and fell in love with the idea. It’s a 5 hour experience where you not only get to walk with the alpaca’s but also get a chance to get your craft on and “learn the skills of both wet and needle felting using our fantastically fine and luxurious 'home grown' alpaca fleece” you also get lunch… Which is always a bonus!
Everyone
has got a bottle opener, but how much would your life be improved with this
pizazzy number, the perfect combination of whimsical loveliness and
practicality.
It’s also gold and pink, what more could you want?

She
is a true British icon, with more sass than Christmas itself so naturally
a “quirky gift guide” would not be complete without a bit of Viv input. This
little darling is not only bold and beautiful with its iconic org and floral
design, but also wonderfully classy and chic and is made with pure crepe de
chine silk.
A
water jug that actually glugs, need I say any more?
The only issue is I can’t decide which is my gluggle of choice; woodland green, sea green, sea blue or sunny yellow… decisions, decisions.

These
are Christmas personified – Yes, they are a bit out there, but aren’t they just
delicious. I would wear them for the whole of December and then repeat the next
December and the next and the next, until I die.
A
printed poster with a newspaper style background and a larger print overlay. My
favourite is the queen cat, however varieties include stags, jellyfish and king
lions. Whack it in a distressed wooden frame and voila the perfect pressie for
the downstairs toilet!

Believe
it or not neither of the creators of Olivia Burton are called Olivia or Burton!
Lesa Bennett and Jemma Fennings created the brand and it is the name of Lesa’s
great aunt who was a “constant source of inspiration and support” This new
jewellery lined dropped earlier this year and the bee line is divine. I’ll take
one of each please.
What
do you buy someone who has got everything?
This! A fantastic idea and even better if you can find out all the countries they’ve been before you gift it, scratch them all off and then put it in a lovely frame. This protects the map from accidental scratching (wear and tear) and makes it a real feature. Mine sits proudly above one of my fireplaces, I’m making myself sound glamorous here… I’ve only got 2 fireplaces.

A
classic cut, with a bit of fun on the pockets and just a steal at only £75, buy
this for your leopard loving girlfriend and she will love you forever

This
one is a bit of fun for your holidays, or for your local swimming pool I
suppose?
Get some cool snaps underwater with this little gadget, it’s cheap and probably crap, but hey ho I like the sound of it

I
am a firm advocate of supporting local and these beauts come from an
independent homeware and gift boutique nestled in the Norwich Lanes. I
literally want to buy every single thing in their shop but these cheeky monkeys
are particularly delectable.
For
anyone who loves gin as much as they love you (or maybe more) send them a gin
box every month – it includes a full sized bottle of fine craft gin, a magazine
and the perfect accompaniments to your gin including tonic and cocktail
ingredients. This really is the best gift ever, I know I am biased because I am
the world’s number 1 gin fan, but seriously consider this bad boy when
purchasing your gifts this year.
Note
if you don’t want to break the bank you can also send a one off box or take out
a bi-monthly subscription… every ones a winner!
My
eagle eye spotted one of these gems a while ago on somebody’s Instagram (the place
where dreams are made of) and have been obsessed with them ever since, but
haven’t been able to afford to treat myself. Poor me! It’s
fantastically individual and perfect for that special someone in your
life.
I’m
not gonna lie these are pretty steep at £34.50 each but they are so wonderful
and the hand-painted patterns are encrusted with genuine 24k gold. Let’s just
take a moment to imagine you devouring your morning *insert desired hot
beverage here* from this piece of loveliness.
Now
this really is the piece de resistance, I promised myself that all items on
this list would be under £200, but this one just managed to slip through the
net, because at the end of the day it is the ultimate quirky gift! The classic
lip clutch is the red patent, but if you fancy something a but different there
is the delicious gold glitter, the oh so fashionable powder coated and the
sassy snakeskin.
Oh please Mr Claus.
Oh please Mr Claus.
We'd love to know...
Which of these quirky gifts would you like to be under your tree this Xmas?

Excellent list of Christmas gifts. I am using a Scratch Off Map which I bought some time ago from an Amazon Store. This is really a wonderful product for travel lovers.
